April 25, 11:00 a.m.     Meeting and Auction for Plants for Members

May 1 and May 2       Spring Plant Sale at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

June 20                     Daylily Show & Sale Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

June 26 – 28              American Hemerocallis Society Region 3 Summer Meeting Hosted by: National Capital Daylily Club

July 11                     Picnic There will be a short meeting where a nominating committee of three members, including the chairman, shall be nominated and elected by the members. It shall be the duty of this committee to nominate candidates for the offices to be filled for 2016. The slate of officers shall be presented at the August meeting.

August 22, 11:00 a.m.       Plant Swap/Meeting at the garden of Ellie Jerrell in Dewitt, VA. Members are asked to bring a luncheon dish (main dish, side dish, dessert) to share, and a lawn chair if you have one. The club will furnish drinks and paper products.

September 5, 11:00 a.m.     Officers shall be elected by ballot at the Annual Meeting in September. After the meeting, there will be a “Plants for Members” auction.

September 11, 9-5 and September 12, 9-3        Fall Plant Sale at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

October 24-25        Lilyhemmer 21st daylily fall festival!

November 14, 11:00 a.m.      Thanksgiving luncheon

Paulette Miller will bring the turkey and mashed potatoes.  Members are asked to bring a complementary side dish or dessert to share.  After the lunch, Michael Miller will discuss his daylily program and 2016 introductions.
