July 9 and July 10 American Hemerocallis Society 3 Summer Meeting They will have 3 fantastic gardens to tour in York PA on July 9 and 3 spectacular gardens to visit in Lancaster PA on July 10. Most of these gardens have never been on a daylily tour previously.
There will be lots of activities with two banquets, and a boutique and an auction will probably round out this wonderful weekend.

AFTER TALKING WITH PAULETTE AND STRANGE’S THE MEETING SUNDAY FROM 11 TO 2 WILL BE AT STRANGE’S ON WEST BROAD STREET. THIS IS A CHANGE OF LOCATION
The club will provide fried chicken. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert.
There will be a short meeting where a nominating committee of three members, including the chairman, shall be nominated and elected by the members. It shall be the duty of this committee to nominate candidates for the offices to be filled for 2017. The slate of officers shall be presented at the August meeting.
August 20, 11:00 a.m. Plant Swap/Meeting at Serenity Hill Garden in Dinwiddie. The slate of officers for 2017 shall be presented.
Members are asked to bring a luncheon dish (main dish, side dish, dessert) to share, and a lawn chair if you have one. The club will furnish drinks and paper products.
September 3 Strange’s Florist 11:00 a.m. Election of 2017 officers. After the meeting, there will be a “Plants for Members” auction.

Lucas Holman will be our guest speaker…program will be on perennials. Lucas is a agriculture/horticulture instructor at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro TN. He will be furnishing perennials for an auction. Small World Gardens will also donate daylilies for the auction.
