July 21, 11:00 a.m. RADS picnic will be hosted by Lee Payne 1430 Schloss Road N. Chesterfield, VA 23225 . There will be a large tent and fan as well as an air- conditioned area. The club will provide hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks. Members should bring a side dish to share and a chair. There will be a short meeting where a nominating committee of three members, including the chairman, shall be nominated and elected by the members. It shall be the duty of this committee to nominate candidates for the offices to be filled for 2019. The slate of officers shall be presented at the August meeting. There will also be a plant swap, see newsletter for details.
August 11, 11:00 a.m. Guest Speaker, Chris von-Kohn is an horticulturist for the U.S. National Arboretum in Washington D.C. Also, this is the meeting at which the slate of officers for 2019 shall be presented. Please bring a dish to share.

October 6, 11:00 a.m. Guest Speaker, Steve Williams of O’Bannon Springs Daylilies in Nashport, Ohio. His website is www.obannonspringsdaylilies.com. He specializes in doubles, small spiders, and miniatures. He has an article in the most recent Daylily Journal. Please bring a dish to share.
October 20-21, Lilyhemmer daylily fall festival held in Camp Hill, near Harrisburg, PA.!
November 10, 11:00 a.m. Thanksgiving luncheon. Turkey will be provided as well as mashed potatoes. Please bring a side or a dessert to share. We will be having Teresa Peckens of Living Art as our speaker. Teresa creates beautiful arrangements using live plants. She will be bringing some of her arrangements and plants to demonstrate her craft.
